a walk of shame

A walk of shame

                                                                              -Yatharth Dutt

The night was dark,

I felt some pain;

These inglorious thoughts,
were crushing my brain.

With a vision of past,

I looked at those cries;

Being eaten by pain,

To find the truth of those lies.

To give her a home,

A price was placed;

To protect her honour,

No voice was raised.

Dragged down the lane,

Robbed under a gun;

To save the kid,

No hero made a run.

When her man raised hand,

Her life was hell;

Many stalked and gossiped,

But none rang the bell.

When everyone was busy,

justifying a terrorist’s plight;

no voice was raised,

for a soldier’s right.

 To protect a politician,

They found million reason;

While for saving lives,

A soldier faced treason.

when someone tried,

to pollute a shrine;

none raised voice,

that religion ain’t mine.

Just a glimpse of the past,

Shredded my fame;

seeing truth of those lies,

my head down in shame.

Tears rolled out,

I finally knew the game;

It’s not my or your life,

                                            but just

“a walk of shame”.

hellooooo everyone....
hope you all are doing fine today .. as a writer I have to wish for the well-being of my readers cz at last u r the one who become my inspiration...
we all go through something daily like we saw a dump or a person being harassed at a small or big level and also we hear news like a girl raped, India has high rate of corruption, but what all we do is criticizing the government and thinking its nothing related to you and its not your mistake...
its a humble request to all you guys start taking responsibilities of all those miss happenings on your shoulders
so whenever someone asks u to look deep inside your heart and questions the meaning of your life
you are not forced to say.....

it ain't my life... its just a walk of shame .

the questions on u

think about it.
